How To Make a Powdered Iced Tea

It's hot outside!  Make a quick iced tea out of our legendary tea powders.

You will need:

1 Teaspoon of Microground tea powder for every 12 ounces of water.

2 Tablespoons Hot Water, not boiling.

12 ounces Cool Filtered Water

Filtered Water Ice Cubes

Sweetener to taste, agave syrup is my favorite

Milk or cream or substitute if desired for a creamy iced tea

1 or 2 Tall glasses

Directions:

In one glass place 1 tsp of tea powder.

"Make a paste!"  Add 2 Tablespoons of hot water slowly and whisk, stir or froth until smooth and creamy.

Add sweetener if desired now, and stir until dissolved.

Add 12 oz of cool water slowly while continuing to stir.

Now, fill the other glass with ice cubes.

Pour the tea over the ice cubes, and top it off with a milk or creamer.

Enjoy!

Tip:

You can make large jugs at a time and store for up to one week in the refrigerator.  Happy Summer!
